Where is The Crypt?

The Crypt is located at 57 Robertson Street, Hastings, TN34 1HY.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 10pm to 4am, every Friday and Saturday, with last entry normally between 2am and 3am. Depending on which live acts are performing each week, we are often also open on other days. Visit our Facebook page or Instagram for information on this week’s events.

What time will the band/Artist come on?

We don’t have accurate stage times until the day of the gig itself. When we do get this information we post it on the associated Facebook event. As a general rule of thumb for gigs, if doors open at 7 to 7.30 pm you should expect the headline band/artist to be on stage somewhere between 9 pm and 9.30 pm.

What time do live shows end?

Friday & Saturday shows generally finish at 10:00 pm to make way for the club nights that follow. We will post running times on our Facebook/Instagram where possible.

It is possible for shows to run over, either for technical reasons or at the discretion of the band and their management. A ‘drinking up’ period for attendees to finish their drinks/buy merchandise is always allowed and, depending on demand, the bar may remain open after the show (at the management’s discretion).

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept debit/credit cards and cash throughout the venue, including on the door. For cards there is a minimum spend of £5 per transaction.

There is a cash point located in The Crypt to the left of the Cloak Room, as well as one outside adjacent to the venue.

Do you have a cloak room?

Yes. The cloak room is situated to your right after entering the main room, just past the ladies toilets, where you can store your bag or coat while you enjoy your night. The charge is £2 per item.

Please note the cloakroom is not suitable for large backpacking rucksacks or suitcases, please avoid bringing them with you.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at Pelham Place car park or Priory Street car park (enforcement 7am – 9pm, Mon – Sun). On-street pay & display parking is available on Carlisle Parade and Robertson Street (enforcement 9am – 8pm, Mon – Sun).
